I have been wanting to put together a family web page for a long time and am finally getting around to it now. Now that we have our little guy, I want to keep friends and family posted on our little family. So for those that are not on Facebook, I will try to keep this blog updated with photos and announcements as frequently as I can.Landon met one of his milestones this week.......he looked at me and smiled a big smile for the first time. :) I was getting concerned that he had not done this yet. Since we have a strong family history of Autism Spectrum Disorders on my husbands side and since I work a lot with kids with autism, I think I am hyperaware of the signs of autism. Luckily though Landon has eased my concerns as he is smiling a lot at mommy and daddy now this week.
Rodney and I are going on a date night tonight! Yeah! We have not been on a date night (without the baby) since Landon was born. I think it will be important for our marriage for us to have quality time together, just the two of us, at least once a month. Luckily we have some great friends and have people in town that we trust to watch him for a few hours so that we can get out.

I can't get over how much he looks like Rodney! You definitely need (and deserve!) some datenights, wish we lived closer so we could watch Landon for you!
